English Knowledge increased?

...do you think you increased your english knowledges while playing with ppl from other countrys and when you are forced to talk in english?

...personally i increased my knowledges significant, but i still use some online dictionary to find some words =P

i learn a lot of new words

i learned a lot from the us guys

but nothing usefull for normal smalltalk

im pretty sure i increased my english knowleges and got more "variety" of words i can use...
and i think its pretty helpful to talk english at all

I Think 50% you learned is nothing for normal talk maybe with a customer at work

and i cant write normal english: every time i use short forms like atm, ez, omg, aso ..., and i have a bad slang

...thats true... when i write somthing in english i usually use "U" instead of "YOU"... horrible habits -.-

but i mean some kind of smoothness or coolness became developed by talking in channels...
...and at least its "LEARNING BY DOING" isnt it? =)

Yeah learning by doing, i also talk a lot of english @ work, cause the guys in scandinavia often dont talk german

The hardest thing in my buissness are the special words freight forwarder are useing in learned them but i forgot half of them,

hm... usually you learn those specific words in school, didnt you? =P

You know i wasnt often at school cause HW and alcohol

instead of this, school english and the words i learn there are total crap
