We have had the same discussion in the Icey forum. I still say that lvl 3 ww, lvl 3 illu, lvl 3 eva and lvl 1 crit is the way to go.

Another technique is lvl 1 ww and lvl 3 crit, as u can buy boots to boost ur speed up a bit. I don't argue for this as the length of ww is so short. When i play, i usuallay stand and wait at the enemeys defense until ams on the defender is gone, or i can spot a weakness. This can take time, if the ww disapears, they see me and are more prepared. Also, i don't think u get up to 522 in speed with lvl 1 ww and boots.

Eva lvl 3 is a must, so is illus lvl 3.

windwalk lvl 3

crit 3

copy 3
wind 1 (use boot and unholy auro for speed)
you cant encease your damage like your evasion, you can only run more fast with items, so i usually use wind 1

That it depends on the game is the most common argument for choosing different skills for the kobold. I say no. There is no use to pick crit lvl 3. The game is: to kill farm. Crit does no good for this.

Ok, let's say u take crit lvl 3. U need boots and unholy aura which takes 2 spots in inventory. To end u will need 1 ring at least, cyc, ams and wards or 2nd ring. The crit will not do extra dmg on towers/farm. Instead, if u choose ww lvl 3 u get 2 exrta inventory spots. 2 more rings makes u take hell of alot more dmg before u die. Case closed as i see it.

Sure, in pubs it can be fun to take crit lvl 3 as u can boost dmg alot and fast, then just ww and crit kill all. As for progames, most of us know how to shrine/save gold in time, and kobold isn't as sneaky as pixie so np seeing u are attacked and start saving. At the end of the day, the only thing that matter is to kill farm, this u won't do with crit .

How do you guys add stats?
My tactic now would be tome of all +2 and tome of intelligence (to keep intel about 50 over the other stats) untill 200 agi. Then int + rings and a bit str

you dont need agi that fast because of crit... ima post when im not that tired again =P

Ok, here is another thing. When you have an illusion hero, rings don't affect the illusions. That is, lets say u got 200/200/200 in all stats. A destroyer will kill one of your illusions just as fast when you have rings as you don't have them. What i do insted is i keep toming power tomes so i have 320 in agility = 2 rings. This way the illusions lasts longer and thus you got more time to kill towers/banks. I still buy rings, but only for my hero to be able to withstand more dmg.

ward no heal illusion just your hero.
better life potion and after it duply fast again
or just surround your ward vs meleee

yesterday i had this hero... usually i dont got that luck to get him =P

In case of the critical damage its pretty nice to kill some heroes, but totally pointless for the main target of the game: destroy the enemies' farm. May sound a bit irrelevant but windwalk is, like Handy_Block said before, way more efficient.

...I actually developed some months ago my on tactics to use Reincarnation, means i dont hit the button to enable the ability, so i can use the reincarnation whenever I want. The point is to NOT lose the Reincarnation at a time you dont want to lose it. So just shiring and fine. The problem is it only can be enabled once, so you have to know when the right time has come. I even played (pubby) games without even using the Reincarnation once, because i didint need it and dont want to waste it pointless. I prefer dying rather than losing the ability of a second chance =)

voidwalker is the best use firerain to destroy creeps
so they cant lvl fast ^.^ i make it all the time so funny

I agree with u Pwnsalot, don't chose reinc. It's a waste to lose it when u don't really need to.
